On Business Presentations

After establishing a sense of trust and collaboration with your target audience, a few helpful actions could lead to better audience understanding. After asking an open ended question to establish interests and concerns, careful listening of audience feedback is warranted. While demonstrating desire to understand another person’s point of view, collaborative brainstorming could lead to persuasive impact. The outcome or solution could lead to improved value. Like Abraham Lincoln once said: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.”

  1. In the society we live in, sometimes it is hard for the audience to trust initially. The idea we have about “strangers” and communicating with them can obstruct our natural abilities to easily converse with another human being. Overcoming this fear by being prepared and confident in your proposal will deliver the message effectively, if you’re the presenter, and as an audience member, keeping an open mind is best.
